Topics to discuss when I have time

What is rationality?

What is the sacred? How do you know it when you see it? From the artist's perspective...

Is theology a science?

What is science?

What is the Christmas story really about?

Possible names for a child?

Redefining recreation...

Feel free...if you have any ideas before I jump into them, go right ahead...as of now I'm unclear on all...right now it's off to dogmatics with Karl Barth...

If its a boy, which I am convinced it is, You should name him Elijah. If its a girl, Chloe (that's what we name our dog).

Gotta love that Karl Barth...

Well...Karl Barth. Dogmatic is right. What do they teach them at these schools?

You have some very promising topics for discussion. However, I have to say that, in my experience, it is extremely difficult to actually get somewhere. They are so vast and dense that the bunny trails quickly distract even the most determined bloodhound. In such a fashion was Academia borm, and its fundamental form sustains it.

You are definitely right...In most of my classes, we get no where in discussions...time is taken up by theorizing and theologizing until we are pink in the face...it gets to be very irritating at times when I look for something practical to gain out of the lengthy conversations...

I love that comment by anonymous. I don't know if it refers to my naming preferences which were sarcastic, or my Karl Barth comment which was also sarcastic. Sorry for the confusion.
